The Lompoc Valley Art Association’s Cypress Gallery will be featuring "New Vistas", an artist show by Neil Andersson. The show will be on exhibit from November 3 through November 27, 2022.
Neil Andersson’s featured artist show at Cypress Gallery in Lompoc offers a diverse and personal way of looking at our regional landscape. Included with his oil paintings are a number of works in soft pastel and several drawings. Viewers may recognize scenes of Beattie Park, Ken Adam Park, River Park, and the Santa Ynez Valley, filtered through his painter’s ‘lens’ that offers a new way for the audience to see them.
Originally from Washington State, Neil has been a resident of Lompoc since 2017 and has been active in the Lompoc Valley Art Association and Cypress Gallery, both as gallery director and LVAA vice-president. Neil also shows regionally at Gallery Los Olivos where he is the in-coming president. He is a member of Oil Painters of America, SCAPE, American Impressionist Society, Pastel Society of the West Coast, and International Plein Air Painters. The Artist’s Reception is at the Lompoc Valley Art Association’s Cypress Gallery on Sunday, November 6 from 2 - 4 PM. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
